We can supply and fit remote controlled motor movers to most caravans, including twin axles. These versatile accessories are very effective in most situations and can be used on all surfaces, including gravel and soft grass. Most hills are not a problem either, as they can cope with inclines of up to 1 in 4.

What are Motor Movers?  

Remote controlled caravan movers make it easy and safe for one person to place a caravan close to walls, hedges or trees. So you can make the most of available space - while avoiding damage to the caravan or the surroundings, - just by pushing a button!

There's no danger that the unit will run away down a slope and hitching up is less stressful too, as the caravan can be 'driven' up to the towcar under complete control. Maximum speed is around 30cm per second. It's not just on site that the motorised caravan movers are a major labour saver either.

How they work:

By the help of a remote control you can easily move your caravan without a vehicle or using any muscle power. Motorised caravan movers consists of two powerful electric motors that drive the road wheels of the caravan via rollers. Once the drive rollers are engaged, the caravan can be manoeuvred in any direction with inch-perfect accuracy and complete safety. You can drive both wheels forwards or backwards at the same time to move, or to turn on the spot, drive one wheel forwards and the other one backwards.

Braking is automatic and immediate as soon the remote control button is released.

Motorised caravan movers are suitable for nearly all chassis types.

Movers clamp to the caravan chassis and requires no drilling or welding, therefore it does not weaken the structure and can be removed when the caravan is changed. Wiring is straightforward, with the power coming from the existing 12v caravan battery.

Supply & Fitting of a Powrtouch Single Axle Motor Mover starts from £880 (Inc VAT) and takes approximately 4 hours. We also fit Twin Axle Movers.
